The walk away winner of this week’s Golden Boot was a
youngster with an old-timers drinking habit, chris roe.
He must have been inspired by his recent engagement; his
work up front was measured and smooth as usual.
About midway through the second half, the ball popped
loose from a scrum. After an offensively frustrating 70
or so minutes of futbol, Chris knocked a low well-driven
ball to the right side to finally put us ahead. Not ten
minutes later, he turned on another ball about 25 out from
the left side and pinged the far post.
On a side note, Vigis did not yet return the actual
GOLDEN BOOT, and rumor has it, he is planning an early
retirement so he can keep the DasMagic heirloom on his mantle.
Who wants it next week............ I see something.....
