The final week's Golden Boot Award is about as easy as it gets.
The cagey veteran, always willing to do what the club needs. Whether it means going to a league meeting, jumping in the goal when five guys leave at half time, or, in the final match, dragging his new hip and knee onto the pitch because we didn't have enough players to start. Fergie takes it home for the second time this year.
Fergie was the man on the spot to poke in a goal five minutes into the match to put us ahead 1-0 and buy us some breathing room. After a scrum in front of the net, Fergie was sitting on the far side of the net when the ball dropped in front of him. He wasted no time and put it away!
Who wants it next game, I see something..............
